Woah! More guns! Excellent! You can never have too many guns!

P.S. If you want a couple of cowling guns like on a P-36, you can cut off a couple of those nubby sprue gates and carve, sand the back end to fit, like I did on my suped-up version:

Ian the Kiwi Herder

Oooohh, two-tone green with DEI AF triangles ?

I'll get me coat (again)

Sorry.... didn't mean to come-off as a smarta*se !

DEI AF - Dutch East Indies Air Force - Dutch forces in Indonesia, Brewster Buffalos' and P-36 Hawks wore OD and US Med Green camo (very effective over the jungle) National markings were a large orange triangle with a thin black border (the Dorito). Undersides were either NMF or painted Aluminium.

Ian you didn't come off as a smart @$$ I am just relatively un educated on euro camo schemes and planes, most of my reference is just standard US with a few general books on Axis stuff. ;D ;D

You totally threw me with that one, Ian! I've always thought of it a N.E.I. for Netherlands East Indies. I was trying to figure out what you meant by D.E.I. (Defense __something__ Israel???).

Toolslinger, here's XP-36C thread. The base kit for this was the wonderful $5 Academy "Flying Tigers" P-40 in 1/72 scale.

Here's another P-40 I mangled, but it does give you an idea of the Dutch scheme:

This will be a weapons test bed aircraft.
Early  in 1937 this plane was equipped with experimental weapons
The largest guns are 1 inch/25mm cannon, the next down are .75cal machine guns/15mm cannon, the small guns are .416 Rigby cal. Browning machine guns

Stole Mr. Hunter Gatherers cool masking technique

Well crap, that is backwards. :banghead: The cloudy bits should have been the lighter color :banghead: Dang British sky type is just duck egg blue ,which is entirely too green. I think I'll overspray it with something much more Bluey ;D

I dunno Toolslinger. I like the undersides the way they are. It's a very subtle yet vibrant pattern. As underside camo patterns are rare, espeically for the era the Bushmaster seems to come from, pretty much anything goes!
