Found one of these dusting away on a shelf...wow, what a kit!

So, do we get an update of your infamous "It's GODZILLA!" Group Build photo with this one?

I had one of those...no, wait.  It was only a 15" long version.

It would be cool to do it as a sort of anatomical cutaway reference like a Gray's Anatomy medical primer.

Have you seen Bruno Luchesi's books on sculpture?  In "Modeling The Figure In Clay," he sculpts a woman (his wife, in fact) from the bones up, er, out.

Run, don't walk, to your nearest store and pick this kit up !!!!!  One of the most awesome bang-for-the-buck kits I have ever run across!
This is after less than two hours:

Saw a couple of those at my local Toys R Us for $20.

Hmmmmm - idea: build one in "as found" condition, i.e. lying in a depression in the sand, with the (1/72nd ) helo that blew the sand away by accident lightly pranged near (or on top of!) it, and the helo crew standing around staring........

In fact, since it's so big, and the diorama wouldn't use all the bones, you could make a series of them, using different parts of the T-Rex kit. One in 1/72nd with aircraft, one in 1/76th with ground vehicles, one in 1/87th with railway civilians* etc..... "The Discovery of Tyrasnosaurus Imperator"....... ;D

* Don't you just hate the way that all those brilliant railway civvies are just too small to put with your armour and aircraft kits?  >:(

Yep, they are selling for 19.99...I would estimate their real value at well over 80 bucks, you have to see the kit to believe just how good it is.

I agree, this is an awesome kit! I picked one up right around last Christmas and it is well worth the money and I paid $30.00 for it then.

It is a really well thought out kit, it balances well even without the base.

Look for a model kit of a 1920's steam lorry and mount the dino on the back, partly covered by a tarpaulin...
