The symbol I was looking for

Pretty colors

It will eventually look like this

I guess I could have just asked ARC what he used for his profile..... but that would have been smart :banghead: :banghead:

Sorry for missing your question, that is indeed the German CoA. The Roundel(?) is an Haitian marking with black and white switched

Well I still suck at freehanding an airbrush

But look at the pretty colors

And I know that the colors don't exactly match ARC's profile

But look how pretty it is though

It will still get a lighter color of green tomorrow but I think I'll mask for that one :banghead:

pyro-manic

Looks good to me! I think the blue could do with being toned down ever so slightly, but it's a cool scheme. -_-
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

I always like to hear everyones opinions on my models so I hope this will be taken in the spirit it is given: to Pyro-manic  NO  ;D ( I like the blue)
Here's my little painting buddy ( she likes the blue too) ;D

Here's ARC's profile

Here's this am's paint

I definitely mask better than I freehand :banghead:

The addition of the light green really pulls the camo scheme togehter Toolslinger! Nice work!

I'll throw my vote in to keep the blue, too. There is just enough of it. If you had much more (i.e. only two-color scheme) I might object.

Truthfully, I did not like the model when I first saw it in its beginning stages. Now I do. Most of the stuff here is unique, whether good or bad. This is good!

Re: Yer "painting buddy"--did you ever have the "Perry the Squirrel" model (maybe mid-1950's)? It was a plastic squirrel model upon which you would brush "glue" onto then sprinkle "fur" (packet of shredded "fur" included in model) on it!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Hey largest of tree Ranger ,How effin old do you think I am? mid 1950's  I wasn't born till '66, besides if I put glue on that squirrel it would bite me ;D ;D ;D

When I first saw the blue and green together I thought "What the...?!"

But it really does work for the final scheme, don't it?

BTW, um, wouldn't this have been a pretty good entry for the Profiles Tribute Group Build  ?

Yeah, that's the first blatant plug for the GB....many more to come!

Hey don't ya'll read your own threads , I posted a question in The Rules asking whether this would be acceptable and nobody ever answered me  I also thought it should be in there and will be happy to enter it ;D ;D

Yeah, that's why I answered you over here.  Supposed it's typically Canadian humour (spelled with a "u").  I will confer with IHG as I have no problem with people entering appropriate subjects that are already in-progress when the GB is posted unless a model is already complete at that point.
