Back History:

China was becoming more and more agressive with its military build up. south of its borders, Taiwan was getting a little uneasy with this, as china already have threatened to invade and destroy the "renegade province". the ROCAF asked for help from near and close allies. it was clear that the current Mirage 2000T, F-16A/B (with MLU), F-CK-1 and F-5E/F would not stand a chance against the larger, more agile and more powerfull chinese fighters such as the J-11, J-10 and the new secret J-XX. to replace the large fleet of F-5E/F's, the ROCAF ordered the Northrop F-29A Scorpion.

the F-29T is a specialised varriant of the F-29A but build and designed specificly for Taiwan. new features include a new engine (possibly an EJ200 or an GE F414), an APG-65AESA radar and larger wings and tail to improve the STOL and maneuvrability characteristics of the plane. in 2009, Taiwan has placed an order for a total of 86 F-29T's, including 15 TF-29T 2-seaters.
other fighters accuired by the ROCAF in 2012, is the F-22A to cope with the threat from the J-XX. to replace the Mirage 2000's, up to 65 EF.2000 typhoons have been bought for air defence, making the F-16AM/BM available for ground attack and anti shipping missions.

The Model:

the model is a revell 1/144 F-5E kit, fitted with new custom made forward swept wings, the vertical tail section is from a revell 1/144 eurofighter kit, same as the 2 AIM-7's and the engine outlet.
decals are custom made , unfortunatly i had some fitting problems with the canopy, so i will propably have to fix it later
btw, im not to proud of the paintjob to, so it might become repainted later, maybe canadian or belgian
