Kitnut , I can hardly reply cause my pants are dancin so much over that last picture    Is that yours :blink:AWESOME
But with all due sarcasm, :banghead: I'll just run down to my local Hobby Lobby here in Texas and pick me up one of those

Yes it's mine, it's a 1/72 scale Airframe vacuform and was my first attempt at a vacuform. I used a lot of Aeroclub bits & pieces and scratch built parts to complete it.  I couldn't find one at the usual North American stores I frequent (on the 'net that is) but Hannants have a number to choose from, here's one: http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=PLA11272
Anyway back to the thread

Now what would a Spiteful look like with a Mustang style radiator duct?

Sentinel Chicken

Back home from vacation, here are a few shots- first, some shots of the main room. It seemed that there were less vendors compared to last year?

None of these shows are complete without MAL having a booth. They are a fixture at all these shows.

And for those who want to do detailed work or perform surgery on someone, buy some tools!

The U-Boat conning tower diorama was pretty neat:

Tanks and Artillery.

This picture does not do the size of this rail gun model justice, it's about 4 feet long and maybe 5 feet high.

Sentinel Chicken

The only thing this model is missing is a few jack-arse JMNs that annoyed me at my table:

Would you look at that, my friend's Mugwump depicting her when she sees the stash he got at the show that he'll attempt to sneak into the house......

So when things slow down, we start screwing with some of my friends. This is Marc, he's not a whiff guy but a regular at the show.

I told him he needs to hook up with the local IPMS group. Anyways, he stops by and asks my friend and I if we'd babysit his kits while he hops the bus to Squadron. No sweat, Marc. No sweat at all..........

So as Marc leaves to hop the bus, I turn to my friends (the one helping me and the guy at the tables next to me), "You know, we should mess with his kits while he's gone."

"Let's take some parts."

"No, you can't dick with the kit."

"Swap the parts. Put one sprue in one box and exchange it for another."

"Ooooh, creative. But that's only funny if both boxes are the same size."

"Let's put some trash in the box!"

"Brilliant!"

Some used napkins from the donuts from the morning........

We even got a cheap-arse kit and tossed in a few parts....some Dr. Pepper cans.....some Whataburger wrappers.....but I liked the Twiglets too much, so I took 'em back..........
