Captain Canada

The ongoing war on German shipping throughout the North Sea forced RAF strike aircraft farther and farther asea......

A/C from the Banff Strike Wing led the charge......

In my world, tho, the AAR probes are really 30mm cannon. Way more fun that way ! It's the Hobbyboss F-84G. Rockets from the Trump Wyvern, and decals from the spares box

After a long sortie, on our way back home at dusk. Maybe we'll get that Tirpitz next time......

You sir, need to get out more!!   ;D

Lovely model CC, RAF Republic types seem to be popular at the moment.  Love the WWII colors on it though.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I have to agree this is a very sexy plane.

Apart from the wonderful paintjob and markings, its warload is something I wouldn't want flying towards my boat!!!

Ohhhh Dead Sexy!

Grand idea. I'm sorta thinking those rockets would make for a very bad day for a U-boat commander who couldn't sink his boat fast enough to avoid the attack at first, and then stop it from sinking too fast after the attack! Imagine whistling in on the deck at 600 mph and unloading those rockets broadside! That would just ruine the crease in your dress uniform trousers.

Thanks for the comments, guys ! These easykits do just fall together, and it was just what I needed after getting into a bit of a funk.
