Any recommedations for kits of the Forger?

Seems like an ideal Whiff subjet to me...

Thanks

Have to agree with Duncan there.  The Revell ship builds up ok, I'd expect the Hobbycrap to live up to it's name, but then there's always A-Model, who also do a -38U IIRC.

Expect the Hobbycrap to take a few years of PSR...

I've also seen a Forger in Zhengdefu or Kitech boxing, not sure of its origin though.

The Amodel kit is probably the most accurate, but its a bear and a half to get together. Its also a bit expensive for wiffing in my view.

The A Model kit is by far the most accurate but, like Upnorth says, it's not a fun build. A Model also do a two seat version but, while this has the correct extended nose, they've completely omitted to add in the large fuselage plug to the rear of the wing!

The Revell kit is easy to build but isn't that accurate, especially round the intakes. However, it does look like a Forger when it's built and modifying this kit may well be easier than building the A model version.

The Hobbycraft kit is very poor but might be a good basis for whiffing. I've seen the Kitech boxing (where "Forger" has been translated as "Blacksmith"  ;D) and this appears to be the Hobbycraft kit.

The hobbycraft kit has okay fit and goes together without an insane amount of psr. At least mine did.

As for accuracy ah well..... it's what-if, right?

Just agree with this statement. The canopy is thick and squarred!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
