I sit there hemming and hawing, fretting over every minute detail and whether anything will join up properly, etc., and here you are: swinging styrene madly around the room as if it were a dead cat (don't tell Ms. H. I said that) and it comes out beautifully.

If you weren't so gosh-darned talented, it would be easy to be insanely jealous of a guy like you!

I use live cats ;D ;D ;D  It's not as easy as I make it look in pictures. Most of my builds end up made out of more putty and gap filling superglue than styrene :banghead: :banghead: And it also helps if you actually build stuff that exists. This actually is a Airacobra with F-86 wings

So I figured it had to work.
Getting the jet engine to fit was a question of lining up the remainder of where the trailing edge of the wing roots went on both fuselages and filling the rest with P-51 intakes.
And that explanation greatly simplifies the actuall process

Oh boy, have YOU got your work cut out for you, STS!  Do you think you could not have "skinned" it with some layers of 10 or 20 thou plastic card?

That would cost $ and assumes that HobbyTown USA has something like that .The last time I looked they had 1 rack with about half the slots empty and a bunch of useless drones that really know nothing about the hobby working there.Try to order something and the idiots direct you to some 80 year old that is really knowlegable about trains but does not know how to work a computer :banghead: :banghead:
If I can't build it myself or order it from the net I pretty much don't get it.  :banghead: :banghead:
The horror is that that is the state of the hobby in the US and as near as I can figure the world today.
Sorry to go on a rant and be such a something deleted about it but there are only like 2 real hobby shops within 100 miles of me and I travel for a living. It's that bad all over :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
