Flying (Smart)Fish

Thought this was eye catching enough to post about.  It's the HyFish, a concept by a Swedish company called Smartfish.  It's a study for a GA aircraft & aparantley it's design is inspired by tuna!

No idea how practical it'll be (last news update was October, so it's not promising), blended designs don't tend to make it in the aviation world with the odd exception.

Knew it rang a bell from somwhere.  I'd been reading up on Cheranovsky's parabolic wing designs when deciding what to build for the Flying Sorcery GB.  The BICh-26 was a postwar design for a fighter, with a blended delta.  Delete the tail from the Smartfish & you've got too very similar aircraft.
