Nice idea! How about putting a MiG-29 canopy on it to make it a bit more Russian? The Russians would probably also put chunkier undercariage with bigger tires on it too: something like a MiG-23, Jaguar or Mirage F1.

You Glorious Bastards, we must do this build!  Must, I tell you! Must!!!

I have a Bismarck that's just BEGGING to be Sovietized.  I've had this plan for a while, and I've been assembling the extra bits for it too.

They are around, although finding them might be difficult.  There's a range of 1/12 Diecast snowmobiles that can be picked up fairly easily I think.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Me too.

Myashishev M-54 "Flintlock" Interceptor and its trainer, reccon and EW derivitives collectively known under NATO parlance as "Millstone"

It was an extremely "hot" and unforgiving jet that earned a lot of ,usually unflattering, nicknames by those who flew and serviced it. "Flying urn" and "Devil's concubine" being the most common.

All I'm saying for now.

Now here's an interesting question.  We can Sovietize an existing Western airframe, how about converting a Soviet machine to closely resemble a Western design?  For example modifying a Mig-29 or to look more like the F-18?
