im also thinking of sovietised YF-22

meet the Sukhoi SU-40 "Gambit"
this aircraft was the soviets awnser to the american F-22A Raptor Stealth fighter, and looks almost like an exsact copy of its prototype, the YF-22.
the aircraft is powered by a pair of Saturn AL-35 TVC engines with 2D thhrust deflectors. she has an internal armament of 2 AA-8 Aphid short-range iR missiles in 2 bays behind the intakes and up to 4 R-77 Adder medium-range AAM's in a larger weaponsbay under the fuselage.
the large weapon bays can also accomodate 2 or 3 AA-10 Alamo's, 4 AA-11 Archer or 2 AA-9 Amos.
for Air-To-Ground operations she can also be equiped with 2 AS-14 Kedge AGM's and various unguided freefall bombs.

all i need to know is when the GB will eventually start, and i wil get crackin
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Que the national anthem (my prefered version)

from: Gen. Nilsoyev, Soviet Air Force
to: Group Build moderators of this glorious union

Comrades,

all of us are very pleased with GB to improve the puny designs of those capitalist dogs.
there are 10 pages made here that show that many of our loyal followers are prepared to take down the decadent west with there own means.
for almost 2 decades we have have lurking in the shadows and now it is time for glorious union to rise again.
as you can read, we are prepared to gear up the might of our mighty soviet military forces.
we are here, we are waiting for the signal to start building.

we are tired of waiting, the time of the red star to rise again is now.
let us march comrades, the east is red, now its time for the west to be red to.
i have already sent out a group if AN-130's (sovietised C-130's) to drop you some crates of vodka.
it is time to rise, we shall march our way to victory.

we are awaiting further instructions

signed,
Genral N. Nilsoyev,
Soviet Air Force, PVO command

:tank:ZA RODINA :tank:

ps: i have already sent out mighty Kirov airships for shock & awe operation in New York.

They'll only wait until you've gone and then paint "Coca-Cola" on it, you know......

Commerades! This decadant western smilie  :tank: is getting a lot of use on this glorious thread of the people. Is it not time then that we sovietize it?

One variant that Vought proposed for the Cutlass was with a Nene engine.   One could take the Lindberg XF7U-1 and a Hobbycraft retooled MiG-17 and have an afterburing, Nene Kutlaski.    T-tail instead of tailless design.

Or have a statue of Lenin towering over her, in much the same way as the Statue of Judgement does in the Judge Dredd stories:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I like the comment 'from the top you can see right across the mega city' - Mega City One takes up the WHOLE FREAKIN' EAST COST OF AMERICA!
It's never really specified, but I always imagined that BritCit (England's answer to Mega City One) takes up the whole UK...
And yes, the Soviets have thier own glorious mega city! And thier own sovietized judges, who look sinister and do not have those huge eagle shoulder pads. I have the comic in question somewhere, it's part of the time when Dredd was appointed marshall of the moon settlements...
So, I guess sovietized Judges would count, if anyone feels like converting a Judge Dredd figure...
Heck, Let's sovietize the USS Enterprise while we're at it! Commerade Captain Kirkovich demands for Alien Commerade Spock to activate glorious people's transporter beam!

Comrade Lenin does not approve of the Capitalist Pigs that run the so-called "Empire" in the galaxy far-far away. Comrade Stalin does not approve of the emperor, nor of the Jedi, whom both are capitalist pigs  Let the Red Army board the stardestroyers and Death star, and invade Coruscant!

Oh, and the Death Star is to be painted red once completed!

Find out what the Russian name for a Cossack sword is and call it that (as an unofficial nickname, of course). It would make sense to assign it to the Cheranovskiy bureau, who produced several studies along these lines. If it was as much of a pain as the real Cutlass, the BICh-prefix would be appropriate too!  ;D

Actually, that's got me thinking: you must be able to do something BIChy with a Skyray.......
