dont ask if i had fun, i dont wanna talk abou it

Why should Belgium buy the JSF? Their flag is not even displayed on the side of the air intakes!

Nice pics, though it looks like the weather could have been better.

Nice to see some of the older birds like the Mirage F.1 and A-7 still making it to shows.

I have to say the "Matrix" style tail on that Viper really isn't doing much for me, but then I didn't care much for the films themselves.

Unless I'm totally mistaken (strong possibility) I think its only the top tier partner nations in the F-35 program that got their flags on the mockups and prototypes.

Yeah, but still, they are trying to sell it to a country that will pay with tax money. They could at least stick a small Belgian flag on as well...

FACT:

Belgium had intentions of buying the JSF and entered the program in december 1999, however after protests and demonstrations by the belgian pacifist party GROEN!, they had no other choise to step out, and belgium left the program on early 2000.

my guess is the model of the F-35 in Belgian markings was there in an attemp to get belgium back in.
honnestly, i dont think belgium will buy the Lightning II, mainly because its to expensive and our budget it wa to tight.

Hi Nils, nice shots,

was there also on saterday until it started to rain, and rain, and rain   We left during the joint demo that, judging from what we've heard was quit nice this time. Annyway, those special where a real surprise but I liked the 1 sqn one better. Bought the decals already
