My thanks to all ya'll. I'm really glad you enjoy my stuff. I know my paint jobs are somewhat weird. But I get bored with the same old thing. ;D
Eddie thanks for the cool pics and info. If you ever get to Mason where my inlaws live check out Ft. Mason. It is pre civil war. R.E.Lee served there.

You know what I think this needs? Big beefed-up prop blades. Those ones look a bit weedy for something Texan. Awesome stuff.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

You would be surprised what you can do with little prop blades, you just gotta spin em faster  ;D

This one's got "Don't Mess with Texas" written all over it! The upper intake is coming along nicely, Toolslinger! A little sanding and you'll get it there.

Might I suggest that the paint-clogged mesh in the scoop can be cleaned up by...brushing on a little laquer-thinner to the mesh, letting it work its dissolution magic for a moment, then blowing it INTO the model with airbrush air or computer-duster air cans. I don't think blowing it in will do any harm, and it should clear out the gunk.

It seems the curly side decals have been touched up nicely. I think the prop is fine without fattening it.  I PRESUME there is a cannon shooting out the prop hub(?).

Can't wait to see the canopy "revealed".

This aircraft is a real looker.

Here is my new rug for the back porch

Oh and here's some pics of the model

I got this intake looking pretty good

Unfortunately I also got dust on the inside of the canopy so ignore the little speckles

Also installed the UHF and VHF antenna

Looks good, PW.  I still like that camo.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Love the weathering Toolslinger! It's just right and pulls all the wonderful parts of this fantastic build together perfectly!

Thanks ya'll  ;D I tried to take some outdoor shots but I ended up spending more time trying to catch the model as the wind was so high, damn hurricanes

I doctored one of your photos to show it "flying". Hope you don't mind!

Maybe I'll enter this in the "Seen over your house today" thread and see what comments I get!!
