Like those bulged wheels.  Nice to see a fair bit of detail on the weapons bay, although I bet you hear the naysayers write the kit off on those ejector pin marks!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

They are a bit obvious aren't they. I wonder if that's why the main doors always closed after the undercarriage lowering cycle on the real aicraft?! ;D

LHS got their delivery (2 of) today while i was in there. Too rich for my taste at £28.99, I'm afraid.

This months MAM has an article on the TSR.2, giving profiles of the prototypes at various stages & some detail shots of the Cosford machine.

There was a local Air cadet Squadron Leader in the LMS the other day and he said he couldn't see the point of a major manufacturer like Airfix doing the TRS2, it should of been let to someone like Anigrand and he couldn't understand at all why Hannants were selling "What-if" decals for it, a complete was of time............................................. I nearly got the cross and gallon of petrol out.

There are some bigots about still. I wonder how old he was?

Anyway, what's it got to do with him, he doesn't have to buy them? It's up to Airfix and Hannants and if they can see a market. Perhaps he'd never heard of Arba, Resitech, Merlin etc etc, all of whom did it already.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

As I suspected, it was scrapped before he was even born!

Jeeezus....

I'm not a TSR.2 fan and I love winding "The Faithful" up, but I don't for a second begrudge them a decent kit of it! After all, whether you like the thing or not, it's unquestionably important to the history of British aircraft, so who better to do it than Airfix?
