This beautiful USAAF Spitfire was posted on Britmodeler today.  I invited the builder over since he didn't know we existed.

One of those real beauties that you see and your minds blurts out "Of course! But why didn't I think of that?"  Hope he joins up over here.  His question about "Do people ever test out paint schemes over drawings?"  made me smile when I imagined him checking out our enormous Profiles section.   :lol:

Very nice!  The colours completley change the look of the Spit.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

i am the culprit for the Britmodeller Spit, thank you very much those of you who commented on my first whif!

i'd like to thank aeroplane driver for the invite to join here, it looks like a very vibrant site full of the fantastically gifted and boilingly mad!
