Thanks even more, I am happy that it is turning out so well...yeah, I know, it is still pretty clunky looking, but it is shaping up more and more every day.
  The depth charges are made from copper tubing filled with plaster and sanded smooth...(page 2)...more work to do on them, but I have at least gotten the teak deck stained !

Bought the entire display of styrene from a local hobby shop...as well as two 4x8 sheets of styrene (!)...my scratchbuilding days are set !!!!

Nice acquisition and definitely a good resource for the small details.  How much did all of that set you back?  I have never seen that particular brand before, is the company still in business?

That quad 20mm looks wicked!  It would work equally well for chewing up attacking planes or raking the decks of a merchie or something.
