"You can see how the crew is frantically gathering around the weapons, as the depth ch-aaa-ges roll off the rear of the boat"

I'm having a blast watching you build this fast attack boat, Mr Cthulhu! I never cease to be totally bowled over by your incredible talent and skill!

For the name, on Danish naval vessels, the name is only found carved or painted on a wooden board, located on the side of the bridge. I have yet to see a Danish vessel, on which the name has been painted directly to the hull

Torpedo boats carried the numbers P560 - P568 (Schnellboote), P500 - P505 (streched Schnellboote), P506 - P509 (Updated streched Schnellboote) and P510 - P515 (Vosper Brave boats), so i suppose this one would be in between P516 and P519...

Not only do you rock, sir, but you roll !!!  I am going to go with P520, just to be adventurous. Thanks!!!!

Greg, great idea for the rails.

So after the depth charges have awakened the giant Architeuthis from his slumber will he make an appearance at the end of this build and  have a bit of danish before going back to sleep in the depths? Can just picture a few tentacles wrapping about the boat and prying loose a crewman or two.

Hmmm, that is an interesting idea!  I had thought of a russian sub, but the idea of a kraken might be more fun.
I love it when projects just kind of develop...and largely due to all of your input !

Hmm, Kraken sounds good! ;D As a possible alternative, the nordic godess Ran did somewhat the same, just catching the ships with nets... :o

See what I mean?  What a wonderful idea !!!!

Wow, those figures really bring her to life.  Gives a landlubber such as myself a better idea of scale, too.
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

thanks, but that is just the primer and underpainting...like any good seamperson, I am starting on the floatation jackets by making a pattern:
