Hey are you switching this over to an Italian Boat?  ;D

A Spaghetti boat? ;D

Actually, the Danish navy did in fact have spaghetti boats once

It was the Triton class, built for american funds in Italy. They where plagued by problems all through their career, and nicknamed the "Spaghetti Boats"...

And not to be confused with "spagetti westerns" which made an international movie star of Clint Eastwood. I can just see Clint at the helm of this patrol boat pulling alongside some smugglers and asking them if they "feel lucky. punk?"

You're insane.  But don't stop, this is awesome!

"this is the largest fast attack boat in the world. It can blow a hole right through your skull..."

Hehhe...

Started on the light and air vents by painting the upper deck with blue, boxing it in, covering it with clear plastic, then using a paper punch to make holes in sheet styrene:

I love the pool you added, Mr Cthulhu! The perfect thing for crew R & R when they're too far from a friendly port for shore leave!

Seriously, I'm very impressed with the amount of patience it must've taken you to get that ladder built. Thank you for keeping us updated on your progress. This is more fun than watching "Lockdown - Extended Stay".

You know, perhaps the Danes would have put in a hot tub up on the deck? :)  Room for some bikini girls!

Starting to install the macaroni pipes:

Arent the decks of a warship usually painted green?

No.  The teak decks were wet mopped with a non-skid dark sealant, usually very sloppily as well. Boats in the south were often decked in a flat green, but most craft in the north were standard white and gray, especially those that served in the north atlantic.

Thanks B! Yeah, I am using quite a few of the woodshop tools on this one.

Ah, thanks for clarification...

But please do tell me that you will paint it Olive green with a shark mouth, just like the Willemoes class boats?
