looking good.  That desert camo is well done.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Thanks Guys !.   One thing about this kit and quite surprises me, is all the protruding rivet detail.  They would do a Frog Shackleton proud    ;D

Things have come to practically a stop for the moment, way to much work to do and way more yard work before winter comes, we've had frost warnings for the last couple of nights already, might be a long winter ahead.

Anyway before all that came about I did get the canopy on and a bit of painting done.  It's beginning to look like something now.

Yep, cover the tomatoes, she's going down to minus 2 tonight (August?).

This is coming along very nicely, Robert.
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Got this one going again, it's just been sitting there looking at me so I've done a bit to it this last couple of days.  Decals arrived so these will be going on soon and all that's really left to do now is stick on all the little fiddly bits, touch up the paint and then the decals:

Couple more pics,  I was looking for some flare boxes which come in the CH-146 kit and Tony (rotorheadTX) kindly provided them for me. A friend on ARC, Dimos, also sent me some (along with the rest of the kit) so these will go on my Petrel.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

The build appears flawless and the paint work is some of the best I've ever seen, along with the artist's eye you show for the camo scheme kitnut! Your talent is amazing!

Lookin' good!

For some reason when you mentioned fiddly bits it made me think that sounds like a brand name for a kids cereal

Hey kids buys a box of fiddly bits cereal and get a free model inside!  ;D
