There will be canards (not a bad name for a whiffing western eh? ) and spatted landing skids along with ruddy great cannons added when I finish with that putty. Then it'll be painted up in a green and yellow paint scheme. Flamboyant coves these pirates.
Anyone know any good sources for piratical looking markings? Cause I could use some for this and several other porjects. Citadel chaos transfer sheets are getting old hat after all.

That is shaping up to be a really nice looking fighter, I must add.  Definately a spitfire on drugs, mate.  As to markings, one could always look into the resources to make your own decals, and then it's just a matter of finding whatever your artistic license desires.

And besides, Chaos transfers aren't old hat! Chaos is Always beloved!  Though some of the other citadel lines might also be appealing, such as the Dark Eldar ones.  Having a sizable collection of 40K miniatures, what can I say, I've seen the majority of them.

Print your own, there are many piratical images on the 'net thke this one for example......

It's school mid semseter hols now, so I've spent some time today doing PSR... a little more is needed to get things smooth and a few things need to be added before paint. Which should go ahead tonight.

And don't tempt me with the hello kitty pirate logo. I just might do it.

If you can find decal sheets for RAF 100 Sqn (smaller) or VF-103 'Jolly Rogers' (larger) they'll have Skull & Crossbones on them.  VF-103 'Grim Reapers' has a nice large emblem of a flying skeleton with a scythe which might do.  All are easy to get hold of, or shout out in the Swap Shop.

Ye Gods!!! No self respecting squaddie would be seen dead within 100 miles of a pink gun!!!! But still if it does the job it's supposed to, the enemy might jsut die laughing before you dhoot them!

Interesting gun... though I agree, the pink is just So wrong.  Not a fan of the filled in thumb grip, though the removable trigger housing bottom bar does speak it might have been a Canadian modification beforehand - the C1A1 submachinegun had an open trigger guard to support use while wearing Canadian issue mittens.
