Quoteor the Prototype YF-16...my bet is on the latter

QuoteMy bet is on a "Spirit of '76" Bicentennial scheme.

QuoteLoooks like the F-16 prototype...

These were the inspirations for this paint work. Is it that obvious? ;D

Outstanding paintwork, Eddie! I really like your treatment of the burner can. Looks like it would take a lot of patience and a steady hand to get results that sharp!

BdaB,
As you know, I'm not a very detail oriented guy, so I try to get by with the easiest method possible. To be honest, this is just a "sludge" wash slopped on after I used a scriber to deepen the lines between the turkey feathers. Here is my first attempt from years ago on my 1/72 YF-16.

And my current effort on the Crusader Chop Chop

Stop reading my mind, Eddie!!  (Was going to use the F-16 prototype scheme on a competitor's airframe to see what it would look like).   Ha, gosh-darned Texan psychics!!

Get you some!!!!! I can't wait  ;D

I think my idea was a physical impossibility and I don't feel like bending the laws of physics today, so I'll try something else. This one has a better chance of working and it is new territory for me. Courtesy of a couple of your donations I might add.;D
