Two aircraft from the Queen's German Legion



Vought Corsair f4, Queens German Legion , MH(G)S Hanover , operating North of Suez, 1956




















NM(G)S Hanover is a Queens German Legion ship, She is Captained by a British Officer and a fair percentage of the crew is British but most are German with a high percentage of the pilots WW II veterans

operating over the Arabian theatre to counter the Soviet crewed Egyption raiders that occasionally  appeared .

Blimey! Surely the Vampire didn't launch the missile, did it? If so, how????

Which kit's the missile from anyway, neat shape, not to mention the camo scheme.  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

no mate, the missiles are ground launched, the Vampire is there for mid course guidence to the target .

the missile is a Russian post war copy of the V1 with two engines, i flipped her over and added a few bits, she has her own entry many pages back  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
