From France: congratulations for the SE 5500...
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Sahara is a monster! I only have one problem - isn't it a bit ugly to be French? ;D

Love it as always, Tim.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

This French Blinder has got to be one of your best yet Tim. Bloody marvellous!!!

I feel the same way, I have said that a few times already though. Just means you are getting better and better

Miles Monitor AEW1, HMCS Magnificent (CVL 21)Operation Musketeer II 1956

developed from the Miles Monitor target tug, thi version was upgraded with the 3,500 hp (2,610 kW) Eagle engine driving contra rotating propeller units. Finally giving the aircraft the power it needed, however more power was needed for the AEW version and two Rolls-Royce Clyde turbo props where shoehorned into the airframe to cope with thw added weight and considerable drag caused by the radar housing.

Mounted above the fueslage in the wedge like structure was a Ferranti Green Blazer MTI radar designed to give a comprehensive coverage in the picket role. Operated by two staff whom constantly contacted the parent carrier with updates over one of the first secure encrypted Radio systems.

Operated by the RN, RCN and the RSAN it saw service in the Suez conflict and beyond etiring from RSAN service in 1968 when replaced with more modern designs

The aircraft illustrated is in canadian service, acting as part of the floating reserve to the southern part of the operation, tasked with monitoring US naval movements during the crisis and the weeks beyond.

I made her from a Resin kit, Magna Models if i remember, the engines were extended with plastic tubing from till roles the contra props are white metal Wyvern units and the radar wdge is actually a flying base from a Corgi dicast  ;D ;D

Black Knight

Tim that looks amazing and given me ideas for my stand bases
As The Dark Master rests, the Black Knight protects the New Commonwealth.

Aerotech, Keeping you ahead by any means.

Now that is seriously mind-blowing!

Those Eagles must really give it some poke too, excellent thinking.

The Monitor is one of those aircraft that get passed by, like the Botha, and there's bags of scope for Whiffers there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Tim................
My mind boggles with your ingenuity it really does
I am really really liking this puppy, the aircraft itself could definitely fit into  my Honduras AF line up.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Nice, but the drag from that top mount - ¡Ay, caramba!

stunning .
the top mount also looks like the trials set for some kind of "DEATH RAY" for an alternitve alt time line
