It's Tamiya XF27 black green, XF67 Nato Green
Vallejo 70890 Reflective Green, 70819 Iraqui Sand and 70821 German Beige for the Radome.

the undersurface is 70992 Neutral Grey

Saab Tp 100, Armée de l'Air du Cameroun, African relief expedition. France late 1991

Initially delivered in 1985 as part of a 4 aircraft deal the Saab 340 of the Cameroon air force operated in the transport and vip roles for over 20 years until the civil war of 2004 saw the break up of the republic into the Francophone north and the Anglophone south ( supported by Nigeria ).

the aircraft pictured is part of the Pan African relief effort to help the struggling European nations following the destruction of the 91 disaster. It is part of the personel bridge betwwen the home nations and the forward operating base within France.























i got this aircraft the other day from the local charity shop, it's a Skymasters resin airliner ( It must have come from our shop as it had our price ticket on it !!! ) and was brocken in a couple of places. I've mended them and taken off the badly scratched airline markinga and put on these Cameroon ones, based upon a VIP aircraft i found on Airliners.net.

BAC Lightning F6, NEAF, RAF Masirah, Persian Gulf 1978

The Near East Air Force ( NEAF ) bomber units based at Cyprus, Koramshah and Masirah did not have much in the way of base defence and really had to rely on visiting RAF or other New Commonwealth units for air defence over the basees, until 1978 when the RAF decided to deploy a strengthend flight of f6 Lightning's at the bases. None nuclear armed these aircraft carried a more or less standard cammo scheme of sand and dark brown with black undersurfaces and the classic white cockpit.

during the 91 disaster the aircraft at Marirah claimed more than a dozen kills before being destroyed by a massive Soviet air assualt on the second day.



































just as i was taking the first photo she fell on the floor and i lost the front probe, which has gone for ever and the two underwing undecarrige units which i had to glue back on    spot the mistake
