What figures are you using, Preiser?

I am tempted to borrow your Plane Watcher idea for a different type of aircraft dio for the Nats.  Course, that would mean I would have to finish an aircraft.

yes mate they are, you can get some fantastic stuff for display bases from Railway models, recently i have got or ordered a burger bar a set of toilets, security fences and kiosks, oxford dicast cars and boxes of Preiser figures all for a large display base i have planned.

Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

Airship Industries A100, Monarch Airways 1991













































Scale on this one is 1/144 she is a 20 seater with experimental Rolls Royce th199 ducted fans. Developed during the late 1980's by a Anglo French consortium she is the forrunner of the passenger carrying airships which ply the world 19 years after the 91 disaster.


Model is the revell Zepalin gondola is a vulcan canopy engines are cut down spares, decals self printed.

The 'Stork' looks a treat in the RM scheme (presumably a Yak-40 airframe?) and as an airship fan the A100 hits all the buttons for me. Love the idea of a Vulcan canopy inverted as the gondola.  :thumbsup: :cheers:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
