Boeing 737 200 AeroSur airlines (Compañía Boliviana de Transporte Aéreo Privado Aerosur, S.A.) Bolivia 1991 ( morning of the 91 disaster )

The airline was established in April 1990 and started operations on August 24, 1990 as a regional air carrier. It was created after deregulation of local air transport in Bolivia by a merger of existing charter companies. It was the first Bolivian airline to introduce business class and first class on domestic flights. It had plans to extend its international network and at it's peak over 1,000 employees.

A real airline but i brought her into existance a few years early otherwise i would have missed this quailti silly jet from the timeline, not usually in these colours but i liked this one  ;D ;D

This week's additions are all superb, Tim! I particularly like the Kiwi birds, but they're all great.

Looks like it came from the Lightning to me.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Tis true the refueling pod came from the Lightning which is indeed Revell, however the hunter is very old, i made it when i was in school around 30 odd years ago, it was never completly painted and i stripped it back and repainted it, anyway it is in two colour blue plastic which leads me to think it was Matchbox

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Fantastic! They're both gorgeous, but the NMF Hunter with that stripe down the sides just edges it for me. Where did you get those markings from? I might have to "borrow" that idea....

the lovely stripe down the side comes from a 1/144 scale british airways Concorde !!

fits nicely though !!

The Wooksta!

The Aussie Hunter is definitely the Matchbox one - I recognise the thick panel lines and panels around the wing roots.  The other two are the Frog FGA9 (camo'ed) and Frog F1 (Sky).
