Well in the limited time I've been allowed to model by the very Pregnant Mrs Darkmaster i have managed to get a couple done......will post after last bit of decaling tomorrow

Bac Purple River anti Aircraft Missile, test deployment, Oman 1991

Very little is known of the Purple River development or it's mainintended use as most if not all records of it were destroyed along with London and other key areas during the disaster, from the remains latterly discovered in Oman it seems that it would have been a powerful area defence weapon with both high and low capability and a high % of a kill per missile.

the test deployment in Oman was part of desert trials but it is known that the battery fired off 3/4 of its missiles until forced to withdraw from the area and claimed many kills on both Soviet and US aircraft over the Gulf and Iran.
