This isn't really a Whitif, but it was designed and used in the movie 'Things To Come'. A couple of years ago, I showed the 'small wing', well 'mum' would make a C-5A look like cargo! I never did work out the scale, but it's about 2' span (60cm) and constructed from balsa, bogged, sanded and resined after adding the detail.Like the baby wing, the colours are Midnight Blue and Yellow trim.
The props are clear acryllic.

Glenn I'm in heaven!!! I'm thrilled you tackled this huge project and I think you absolutely 100% totally nailed it!!!

Any chance we might get a few more pics of this incredible model?

We are definitely in the presence of greatness.

Beutiful work, and a worthy tribute to the original.

Hey, never saw it that way....two 'Big Boys' with wings. The inner wing is straight, and the outer pieces, are reverse crank, with the outer wing section cut back at an extreme sweep with the trailing end drooping lower than the elbow piece.

As stated before, the model is constructed from balsa, with plastic 'bits' all over it. What I didn't mention before is that all the wing joins, to fuselages and to wings themselves are.....fuselage to wing with piano wire pushed into the wing and superglued, then into the fuselage and glued. It's pretty strong, as I can hold it up by either wing tip.
As you will see in the DVD, I think I got the tail unit slightly wrong....as I was freeze framing a video tape, at the time.
