Seeing all the great models that came out of the Soviet Carrier Fighters GBs this seemed a natural (and as such has probably been suggested before but I couldn't find anything recent in a search)

1. make a carrier aircraft fit into any nation (make a South African Tomcat, A Ugandan Harrier, A Kriegsmarine zero)

2. make a ground based machine into a carrier borne aircraft (F-22 Sea Raptor, Folding wing B-17, Navalized FW-190)

3. Combo of both.

4. Fire away with suggestions.

Sounds a good wide ranging group build to me, lots of coverage from 1917-2017 and with a global possibility....

Sounds like a damm fine idea to me. I have a lot of ideas for navalised ground based aircraft.

Agreed. Should it show up on the monthly poll, it would get my vote!

I think this one would get a lot of support in the poll.  I'd certainly be interested.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Scale is kind of hard to tell. But I envision a skyhook coming off the top of the rock like a wilted dandelion.

Sisko

I saw popular mechanics cover from the 50's or 60's I am not sure which but it had the artwork for a truely gigantic carrier on the cover. This caarrier had B-29's on the deck!!!!!!!

Now that would look cool with folding wings

I like it!

I'll put it up either in November or December for the first time.

Something I've often thought about along these lines is a 'group group' build. Each of us constructs some aircraft, including those B-29s Sisko would love, and send them to someone who models Project Habakkuk, the huge aircraft carrier envisioned by the promoters of Pykrete.

No, I'm not volunteering.  ;D

Never seen an F-22 look so good.

Now imagine if the C-130 actually became a standard COD plane.

Now imagine one in with gull gray/white and markings taken off of a grayhound or viking.

....now imagine that with folded wings!
