Kits I wished I'd brought - the special Hobby DH Hornet kits. At the time they came out I was  in the middle of a severe financial crisis.

Halycon Movie Classics 'Aliens' APC kit in 1/35th scale model.  I thought it was too expensive when the kit was originally offered.  Now you have to sell your soul to the devil to obtain that kit.
I have one of those, but built up as a sci fi police vehicle for a long ago wargame. Are you interested?

You can get a 1/72 Monogram P-6E from Dean's Hobby Stop in Michigan for $7.00.   I order from them all the time; Dean will send you a list on e-mail.

I believe I saw the Calypso on eBay Australia very cheaply last week, but not knowing it's value didn't bother about it.

Kits I wish I'd bought... don't really think there are any... I mostly buy things when I have an idea for a crazy kit bash to use them on or when I simply decide I should add one to the stash so I can turn it into something or use it for donor parts... as a result, I mostly just by things which are on special or going cheap on ebay.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

I would like to have picked up that 1/48 resin Gunstar kit (from The Last Starfighter).  I would've bought up one or two more of the 1:350 Polar Lights Enterprises (both kits).

At the same place where I saw the Calypso, I also saw this model.  It was over $100.

Several Airfix 1/72nd Grumman J4F Widgeon/Gosling kits.
I need at least TWO.
Rare as hen's teeth as well, and they're only small

Now that I think about it, last year when Revell re-issued those old Monogram 1/48 tanks, and the little kit of the Forrestal.  I wish I had picked up a couple of those.  They had a few at the Hobbytown in Pineville, then they were gone.
