Coming on well Glenn. I suppose they had to truncate the Tower of Art as in "reality" it was 800 feet tall  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I'm on the base of the tower at present and will be close to 24 inches in height. (196') give or take!

A view to the back passage...woops, sorry the back where the outer wall is. Sorry about that, thinking of some TV show.

Choice!

The more I look the more it reminds me of the "knights of the nine" conclave or whatever it was in Oblivion.

Good work, mustn't let my niece or nephew see that . As they will be asking uncle Steven to build one !

Back in the dark ages, (in  the 1970's) I bought me a COMET Curtiss JN-4 balsa kit....AND FORGOT ABOUT IT!
Now, making these models, as I have more patience, feel more at home constructing them as large static models rather than flying models.
When I scaled up the Jenny, it worked out to 1/21.6 scale...almost G-Gauge but that didn't help me with a pilot. I'd had Priser 1/21 figures before.....but one has to order them and they are a tad expensive and thought I'd look around.
A couple of model PX's ago, I bought a Monogram 'Stinger 'from Sea Quest and didn't realise 'til last year, the the model is 1/20...I knew I bought it for a reason!

Better view of the pilot. Jim, at Hobbyrama did a rubber mold, and resin castings of the figure, and I modified him with a WW1 leather helmet and goggles and re-set his arms. The left on the throttle and the right on the stick. The rest of the figure was in slacks, boots and a zip-up bomber jacket..as any person would be dressed in, in an open cockpit.
He is now painted and glued to the rear cockpit.
