PS I say and shot a Twin Pin in a museum of transport and technology on a European holiday (1979) Swiss Airforce markings.......

I like the Mango Chutney ! Always thought that a/c looked right, especially with all of those lumps and spinny things.

What an inglorious way to finish such a magnificent line of aircraft! A war without firing a shot......I don't even know if there is one of these fighters in the FAA museum?

Model : Matchbox 1/32 Supermarine Spitfire Mk 22--24.
Now :Seafire Mk 48
Conversion : Replaced Griffon engine, cowling and underwing intakes with R.R. Dart turboprop. Also adding arrester hook.
