When "Those Magnificant Men...." was released, a company called 'Entex' (I think, or was it impact?) made 1/48sc models of the aifcraft from the movie. This one was re-boxed later on, as a LifeLike model...but is the original kit.
I bought it at a PX, a couple of years ago, and is NOT a 'fun model' to make. The only thing keeping it together at this stage is the rigging. Its since been shelved, after finishing the starboard wing.

Glen I hade a couple of the Impact kits and I admire your abilities for getting that far with one of them - one of the really difficult ones as well
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A month ago, or so...on the General Modeling page, there were questions asked on what to do with a Ferret! One idea was to turn it into a 'hydroplane' ie..Sea Dart, well..why not a Hydrofoil?

Its funny, but the moment I saw the Ferret, I saw 'Hydrofoil'...and nothing else....yeah, I know..I need to see a 'shrink!'
This is a VP 1/72 vacform model of a Czech Avia B21....well, it was..........!

As you can see, we know how the B-28 will be finished. With an overall of Midnight Blue, it will be in somebody's navy....but who?

This is my second FZG 76 from 'Plug-it' models with all the parts lined up. The fuselage halves have been cut out at this first shot.

Back to the twin P-40 again....now construction is finished.

This is the High Planes model of the Payen PA.22 'Flechair'...with some modifications! With the wing and canard, I drooped them, and with doing that had to extend the tailwheel and then I changed the main undercart...giving it larger wheels. Placing a pilot in the cockpit meant I couldn't add the canopy, so that was modified as well. And last of all...it now has a three bladed prop...and it's 1/72 scale.

Will die without understanding this world.

Back to the FZG 76 II glider...it now has crew!
With the P-402, why not a twin Me-109/ Spitfire/Hurricane/Tiger Moth...no, sorry...that's been done! How about a twin P-47! That would be one hell of a Jug!

As to having 'enough projects'....I'd die if my mind was idle...an idea comes into my head, and I must start it...full stop!
This makes the third French aircraft I'm working on at the moment...Tophe should honour me with an award! Of all the pre-WW1 aircraft built, this would be my all time favourite. Using the plans from an old Scale Modeller, 1967 (think) with plans of all the aircraft from 'Those Magnificant Men....' I had the plans blown up to 1/48 and built her in thick paper. The wing rods are tooth picks, and all the U/C is Evergreen, and the rigging is piano wire..the thinnest I could get. The radiators are plastic, and to date...the port side has been fully rigged.
Aircraft :Antoinette
Scale :1/48
