Strange how the brain works. Photos of aircraft with the nose to the right look to me as if they are on their way to a target whereas that one with the nose to the left looks as though it's returning from a mission

I was wondering it it's a purely UK/Commonwealth thing ? Bomber Command flew left to right on the way out and right to left on the way back. In simplistic terms anyway
