I thought Black and White would set the scene better. The jeep is an Oxford model at 1/72.

Somewhere on the Aegean in 1942, a Do24 rescues two downed fliers.

Big Warplanes : 1/144 Do 24 (t) and Monogram 1/69 downed fliers in Carley Float.

Good! On that picture: the perspective (conical) effect hides completely the difference of scale (it is normal that a distant flying boat seems small)... Congratulations! :thumbsup:

I feel cold just looking at that, the Aegean Sea notwithstanding!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
