That's neat mate
I second that, and it also reminded me of Porco's plane. Makes me wanna go watch it again.

On the return trip to the Rhur, the Mighty Eighth suffered more headaches than they ever thought....and Matrixone, I'm blaming one of your aircraft for this. Either a 309, 262 or a Ta 183!

Perhaps they should discontinue the use of Volkswagen engines?

Good work as usual Glenn.

This B-24J was saved from The Knacker's Yard by Major George Marshall Collins ( GMC to his friends.....which weren't many) to start a new style of Pylon Racing.
This is Checkered Past, that first raced in 1946 and was struck-off in 1948 after a wheels up landing.

Model : 1/144 Big Warplanes B-24D and a hell of a lot of Photoshop.

This is also a great camo for flight over chessboards... ;)

Love the look of that one ! Nice ! I thought it was one of those formation leaders or what not at first, but a pylon racer sounds even better !

This photograph is great!
but... there must be a mistyping for the scale: impossible to be so much good at 1/144th, either it is 1/24th or it is Real World. No? ;)
