- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The ABS 10 transport joined the West German Airforce in 1967. Designed around a WW2 German bomber, but upgraded and enlarged and using two turbo-prop engines.
Capable of carrying three recon vehicles or four field guns or fifty troops.

Model :Revell Ar 234 with props from two Airfix five bladed Spitfires.

New cockpit, engines through the wings and equipment pod under fuselage.

Nice work, man. Reminds me of.. a lot of things. Reminds me of a Trans-All but with more awesome fixtures and I love the tail section, how it "sweeps up" like a Caribou. Paint scheme glorious.. .

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Back with 'The Last Hero' and The Kite! This shows the movement of the wing, this shot in 'dive' mode.

And, like the one in the book....it won't fly!!

Tophe

Google doesn't help me to understand the final goal, but I am glad this model seems twin-boom (or at least "temporary twin-boom, in dive mode")... ;)

Second shot of the 496 as it approaches the airfield.
