At https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?q=beechcraft+model+17+staggerwing# I see there are many commercial kits, including one at 1/21... But doing it yourself, you may be more free to do exactly what you want

Remember along time ago, I was building a 1/35sc Starfury? The body, wings, cockpit , engines and weapons were done....and then I stopped! Well, now I'm back...covered in Humbrol  acrylic primer  ready for the final countdown.

I had to avoid the toy aisle of the stupidmarket for a while until I got my Hotwheels habit under control.
I've got boxes full of the things.  One day i'll build a wall mounted case for them.  It'll make a good colourfull display.
