Awesome job.
Are you building it in 1/35th scale or 40k scale?

It's 40K scale (28mm, about 1:48...). But it's almost huge as a 1:35 scale model, only the smaller things shows that it's a different scale model. According to the 40K universe, it has to be big :)
Thanx for the replies, more pix comming soon...Nowdays, I'm working on the cardan shafts, and the doors... So far I've made 2 different types of doors, but I didn't like them, so they have been thrown away...
The front windows will open to the top :)
So, the engine and it's parts ready to paint, the cab is almost ready for painting and
Things still to do:
1. on the platform:
-the platform needs 2 doors on the sides
-the platform needs some boxes and details
2. on the cab:
-mounted weapon fixing
-fix the interior details
-some extra details...
-making a reel to the front :)
-make the steering of the front wheels...
3. on the chassis
-some detials
-2 more pieces of cardan shaft
-wireing
-fuel tanks and other tanks fixing to the chassis

Are you going to add more rivets?
I have the feeling that the driver's seats are a little to 'light duty' for the 40K universe, where everythign seems to be as tanky and industrial as possible. My preference would be to use something reminiscent of an ejector seat crossed with a recliner... if you've ever seen the 2nd edition land speeder's seats you'll know what I mean.

You may find my efforts of some use:

I didn't think about adding rivets... Maybe if I make extra armour plates...
BTW some details added to the chassis: One of the fuel tank (on the other side, there will be a tank same like thisone), and two other little tanks for air,oil,etc..
A little more details, screwheads and bolt, some little thingies and cableing, and the chassis ready to paint :)

Yes Sotool, one can love a truck. But it must remain a plutonic relationship dammit otherwise it's just sick! Sick I tell you!

Plus the exhaust stacks are too high, you could seriously hurt yourself..... :o

Great bit of scratchbuilding Macal, I like it!  I like your idea of adding some armour, would give it just that bit more of that 40K look.  The WH40K universe seems to give the impression that even street vehicles on a Hive World would be armoured!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Are "plutonic" relationships what you get in these "nuclear families" they keep going on about on the telly?

I'll take my truck over a girl any day of the week, if I had to pick. :tank:

What I like the most about this build, aside from the intensive scratchbuilding?  The fact that you never see utitility vehicles in the WH40K lineup.  Very different=very cool

You should send pics to Games Workshop and Forgeworld, including the profile).

Hi There!

First of all, thanx for the comments! :)
Btw, the time has come, and I was hardly belive it :) Started the painting job, before I finished the model :D
So, some parts has been primed, and the motor has its base color...
The only thing is finished at the moment is one of the little tanks near the motor block... (the little blue thingie...)
