Heres my own little tribute to the RAF's 43 Sqn using an Italeri / Testors 1:48th F-4E
I had some 43 Sqn decals left over and used a few leftovers from my 56 Sqn decal stash, hairy stick all the way and OOB apart from decals, which I got from Entlim, and another spare set of RR Speys I had lying around. This will be my last Whiffer for a little while as I have a load of Real World Airframes to build, but, Bexy aint Phantom'ed out just yet so watch this space   I'll be back with a big beauty of a Whiffer in a few weeks.

Thanks for looking

Thanks Guys, most kind of you both. If someone ever offers you a Testors / Italeri F-4, either tell em to sod off or just smash it with a hammer

A metallic paint job is one of the hardest to pull off and you have done it well!!!!!!!!

Not my favourite plane in the world but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the fine work.
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Jeez, you made a Phantom look good!

What next: a Lightning with range? A Starfighter that handles?

Shiny girl!  Great stuff Bex, the NMF & earlier model give a different look, the cannon is nice addition to a RAF bird too!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thanks Mossie, I think a sunglasses warning in the title might have been better

Ooooh, shiny!

Very nice build. The checks and silver work really well - it reminds me of the inter-war biplane fighters.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Your welcome Bex!

Pyro, you hit it on the head, much like 43 Sqn's Furies.
