Thinking I might use that on a Sci-Fi project!!!!
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Alright, I couldn't abandon those of you who beloved this project, who thought to look, who thought to comment.  The PLAAF Hind-A is Finished!  I loaded her up for true Crowd-cleaning, with Napalm and HE, the kind of subtle the PLAAF can appreciate.  Yes, the markings are hand painted, much to my cursing, for those not in the know.  Pictures!

Questions, comments, queries and Rude Remarks are, as always, not only welcome but invited and appreciated.

Enjoy!

Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

Thankyou, TDM - it's now late, and gods am I tired, but I wanted to finish and post that beauty before I got off to bed.  I enjoyed doing the camo, I have a few other outrageous camo patterns on the "eventually" list so this is not the last.  After the next camo'ed bird I've got planned, I think I'll take a break from camo and do a sleek and clean scheme, an intermission if you will.

That it does, Joe - I knew I wanted to rig it with bombs from the first second I got the plan to do the four Hinds, the A's profile just seemed to beg for high explosive, Logan gave me the answer to "how shall I paint this?"

She has turned out a real head turner Simon.
I am liking this, the hind is definitely suited to this camo scheme.

That was nicely done.

Is there the guidance pod under the nose to the port side?

Oh it's just that I thought I would see the Malyutka missiles (derived in the PRC as the HJ-73) under the wingtips, but a Croc with AAMs is my cup of tea, too.
To the individual soldiers, *everything* is a frontal assault!

To-do list here

Well, I Did give it all the optics and sensors of the 24V, so I would surmise it does have the guidance pod, in addition to the setup in the center under the nose that was originally in place.  I could have done something like that, ostensibly, if I'd thought of it.

Alright, as I've been taking the hammer to her and refusing to give up for a while, I'm Mostly done on this beastie now.  Here we have, the Republic of Japan Airforce's Interceptor, the Kyushu F-3.  Driven by an F-414, the single-engine F-3 is the mainstay lightweight fighter of the RoJAF.  Seen here carrying a standard CAP loading of two AAM3, two AAM4, and the Tank, the F-3 also features radar reduction in the paint, similar to the USAF Have Glass, demonstrating a semi-metallic finish to the paint, it takes a metallic shine at an angle.

I made three images of the insides of the engine to try and show off the internal detail - I took the Hasegawa Superbug can and internals, shaped it to fit into the fuselage, and then further went for broke and used a PE flame holder on the internals.  First is normal, second is tweaked with brightness/contrast in PSP, the second is Flashed - I wanted the B/C to give some detail without the whiteout of the flash.

Absolutely Bob On that Simon
Very nice variation on the Grippen, and the colour really sets it apart.
Excellent stuff, I think I will carve up my Grippen next
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Sauragnmon

Thankyou, gentlemen, always nice to hear some feedback.  I haven't got her markings, but I figured JASDF Blue on Blue, with a metallic twist, would look pretty sweet.
