I think I've got (at home) pretty detailed pics of a couple VMFA(AW)-242 Hornets from their 2005 visit to the Carswell Open House.

No probs!  Some more RAF:

34 Sqn, Suez stripes too, although these were applied to most British, French & Israeli aircraft during the conflict:

207 Sqn:

Talking of Tucanos, some aircraft of 1 FTS (72 & 207 Sqn's) have yellow stripes with the high visibility black.

USAAF 319th FS, 15th AF.  Two in one here, now I forget which way round it is but I think the 15th AF black & yellow diamonds are on the tail, the 319th FS red & yellow on the nose.  Someone from the US might help you better than I can.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Man these are great  :o I knew a lot of F-14 squadrons and a few other American squadrons as well, I had no idea there were so many in the RAF and elsewhere, im seeing markings i have never seen before

Keep em coming!

I'm having fun with this!  Don't be in anyway fooled that I can recall these squadrons from memory, I started with a few RAF & FAA ones that rang a bell & a quick search pulled them up.  I'm now trawling the net just to see what I find & I'm enjoying doing it!  Some I know or have seen before, but some are completely new to me.

Mossie that Indian aircraft is a stunner! Nice job on the Aussie hornet as well! I feel like an Idiot, this squadron is only about 10 miles from my house and wears the colors of my state flag which happen to be red and yellow  :banghead: why didnt i think of this earlier?

Early VF-33 'Tarsiers' had this scheme:

then went on to this:

And just before trading in the Rhinos for Turkeys, they wore this..... very smart

As for red/yellow & black yellow on the same airframe - Gotta love this

Another Canadian unit that might intrest you in the yellow and black colours is 432, here's a link to a decal sheet that CanMilair does to represent a 432 Sqn. CF-100 Clunk:

http://www.canmilair.com/products.asp?cat=70&pg=5

The main pic is black and white but if you click on it it will show you an image of the decal sheet so you can see how the colours were arranged on the aircraft. It was quite an attractive scheme.

Here's another variation on the 432 colours:

Honestly, for yellow and red aircraft, any Canadian Force's SAR aircraft would be fair game as yellow and red are the standard colours for them.

Royal Aircraft Establishment, a red, yellow & white version of Raspberry ripple was used on some larger aircraft:

3 EIV AdA, as unlikeKansas alluded to, most of the NATO Tiger squadrons have yellow & black in their emblems & of course a Tiger Meet is a good excuse for a natty paint job:

RAF 604 Sqn, wanted to post a pic of a Vampire but I couldn't find one that I could 'borrow' from a site:

USAF 25th Air Force:

Another that might intrest you is the Austrian air force's Tiger Staffel bird:

If you can put your hands on Marivox's "upgraded" release of their 1/72 Saab 105/SK.60 kit, there is a decal option in it to do an earlier, but very similar. Tiger Staffel scheme to this one.
