One thing to note, dry-fitting is not a good idea with some assemblies, the fit is so tight and positive that getting the thing apart again can cause damage. Ask me how I know.  :banghead:

Oh I know!!!!!!!! :o

Building the Jigabachi I dry fitted the rotor assembly together and then couldn't get it apart! I actually damaged it trying to do so.

I am truely excited about these kits and will have to get some!
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

The FineMolds 1/48th scale Snow Speeder is due for Japanese release in July. Looks pretty good. http://www.hlj.com/product/FNMSW-10

I was just over at the Finemolds site and they are going to announce a new kit at the Shizuoka show next week. They don't say what it is or what scale it will be so has anyone got any Japanese contacts? I'm hoping it will be the rumoured Raiders of the Lost Ark Flying Wing but I seriously doubt it!
It could be anything as they do a lot of different subjects.

Well it's not a sci-fi kit but it is a bit whiffy. The new kit is the Japanese Type 5 Chi-Ri medium tank in 1/35th scale. This was the most advanced Japanese tank of WW II and the prototype was captured by US troops before it was completed.

Target.com (and I understand Amazon) have Finemolds Star Wars stuff on clearance for 50% off.  These arent in Target stores, just online.  I just ordered an X-Wing and a TIE for about $16 and $17 respectively.  They also had the Slave 1 kit for about $52.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I saw these for the first time at Southern Expo today. 1/12 ? scale military figure caricature's. There are various kits, including a modern US and WWII Soviet female soldier. Quite fun and the weapons look very good.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Hmmm, right...........  :o

Does that mean that every model you make with the model comes out 1/20 scale, or are they 1/20 of 1/20th scale?  -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
