Congratulations to Thorvic & Wooksta!  A winner is declared.  Great model.  Great build by everyone.

Congrats Thorvic and Wooksta! Thanks for an awesome GB everyone can't wait to do it again in '09!

ps. WOOHOO I tied with Scooterman! Must mean I'm getting better :D
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Congratulations Geoff on an outstanding build, and a deserved landslide!

This GB was a hoot, and I'm sure all the profilers out there enjoyed seeing their artwork made flesh styrene.  Lets hope it becomes a whiff institution.

Congratulations to Thorvic and Wooksta - an excellent build of an inspiring idea.

All the entries were good, but I think the right one won.

Way to go.  Well done to both Thorvic & Wooksta.

Everyone is to be commended for both the models and the profiles.

Well done, Thorvic, a thoroughly convincing and well-deserved win.  If you're able to get to Telford I honestly think you should enter it into the the main SMW 'What If' category - the competition will have to be bl**dy good to beat it!   ;D ;D

Congrats to all.  This was a fun build and I think we need to keep this as a yearly thing........

Thorvic

Aw shucks guys you really shouldnt have as there were lots of good entries and good artwork to motivate the builds. I know a few more were started but never quite made the finish line, so a big thanks to all those who took part and those who voted.

As a note the profiles section was created to act as motivation to build, and seeing a concept as a profile can often help stimulate a vague build idea that might have been at the back or our minds into a full blown model.

One point of note from the voting is that the kit bashes appeared to be in favour, so come on guys have a try at scratch building, it aint as hard as your think and does offer a greater sense of achievement in the end.

Cheers
