Just to echo what everyone has said - and proudly wearing my (joint) Moderators Hat - This has been a great Group Build charecterised by some of the best modelling I've ever seen here. I'm guessing everybody who entered thouroughly enjoyed themselves and if I may allow a wee bit of reflected glory to fall on Barry and myself..... It's been a pleasure to moderate the proceedings......

Here's to, hopefully, the next (2009) PROFILES GB.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

What a great bunch of models - some great skills on display. Very difficult to decide on a winner. Well done all the entrants!

Okay, damned difficult decision made and vote cast!

Well done everybody!

Casting a vote in this one was one of the toughest decisions I've had to make recently. The quality of all the entries is superlative!

Great work and effort by all!!!!!!!!!!!
But for originality and degree of difficulty, I would have to say Thorvic's HP-111C Harrogate C.Mk1 has my attention and vote.

Thanks to everyone for some great work!!

Not even I can see them

So, um, how do you know who's won?

Because the poll has an expiry date the results will appear when the poll expires (Well thats the theory)

Hey, who you callin' a "virgin Moderator" homey.  This is, like, my second one (I think).  And you owe me big-time for setting up the voting poll, dude----that was a LOT of entries!!

Hey, I didn't see Tits and Beer as a choice on that poll. I would have chosen beer. I have three daughters, I don't need any more tits in my life.

To all who entered this GB--Congratulations on some fine subjects!

If you've seen my whif work, you know I am not a fan of military objects built after, say, 1950 or so, so I have to say I am prejudiced for prop jobs or "early" jets, and my vote reflects that. But...there were some tempting choices among the flamethrowers and treadmills, too!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!
