This is just ridiculous and I'll admit right off the bat that I'm genuinely very jealous.

Not only do you pull off a beautiful paint scheme but you do it in 1:72 on a biplane of all challenges!

Not only do you flaunt your unholy talent in rigging ability but you do it in 1:72 scale (while I fail miserably in 1:48 and larger).

Not only do you sling plastic like a master but your modifications are both sensible and admirable.  Not to mention highly innovative/creative.

Not only can you create an original backstory but you can do it with panache and humour.  Is that how you spell "panache"?

I hate you BdaB!!!  Hate, hate, hate.....aw, who am I kidding: you da king, Brian.

Did I mention the SPATS! ?

Nuts!  Great, but nuts!!!  Funnily enough I picked up an SE.5a myself today, maybe it's an omen....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. You inspire my madness to no end! I was really pleased with how this one came out and I can't say enough about Polly Scale Reefer White, which is the best acrylic white I've ever used.

Now that I've seen a Grumman Ag-Cat, I can't stop imagining it with guns in camo doing COIN missions.

Deeelicious.  That's a beautiful scheme.  Some day I'd like to get the hang of hand-painting those acrylics.  It's tough enough for some of us to do it with tape and airbrush.

I can't say this is one of Brian's best builds because of all the overwelmingly superb stuff I got to see on my visit to his place. All his stuff is just beyond description     To give you an idea of how good at detail he is this build is about the size of the tail on my 1/48 Migina  :o

Great stuff Brian!

If my eyes are following the path the bullets would take from the guns correctly I'd pity any engine tech who had to contend with the aftermath of a live firing test. Not much of the top of the engine or ring left after that I would think.
