some muppet will buy it thou. if only because the box looks to be in reasonable condition.

Well, if some fool does pay that much for that kit then bully for "scaledetail!"  No one is forcing anyone to buy anything on eBay and I thank the auction gods for such fools whenever I've put my items up for bid.

Mind you, I also curse those same gods when I realize that I've played the fool in overbiding for some trinket...

The thing is that later boxings of the Rotordyne come up fairly often and go for £20-£30 or so, which seems about right given how desireable and relatively rare they are. Multiplying that by three for a nice earlier box is taking the proverbial!

You can find the most recent boxing on Kingkit for £11, I got mine a couple from there a couple of years ago for £13.  I saw a trader selling an early boxing at Waddington for £17, okay, if you're a collector it's worth paying a few quid more, but not £100!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Snigger - I've been watching another "normal" one that came on at the same time as the "collectible" one: it's just sold for £10.12....... ;D

That sub is excellent!

Another Rotodyne in that "collectable" type-2 boxing, just went for £25: about what I thought it should. A normal one also just went for £12.
