I like that.  Apart from the fact that all the rivetty goodness has been sanded off.  :o

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Righteously, though. The old Revell kit does not come with rivets, rather with pockmarks.  :-\
Looks sleek, nevertheless, an I might try this stunt someday, too. I have an Italeri Ju 88 somewhere in the stash that might be converted.

Looks like a single finned Lancaster Mk II in plan view.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Wooksta!

If you're going to do the "fastback" 88S, go with the Zveda G series fof the bigger fin and also go with an offset canopy.

Another mission to be performed by Ju-88 airframe

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Vehicle a 1980 concept by Czech architect Jan Kaplicky for an air-portable vacation home.
Kaplicky had an interesting career, and up until his death he made the drawings of his concepts
with standard drafting tools, no CADD.

The book Drawings accompanied a show of his drawings back in 2015 at the London Architectural Association.
I have a copy and it's stunning.

Ju 86 airliner fuselage with Ju 88 wings and tail surfaces could be another possibility.

ysi_maniac

Has this config ever existed in RW?  I mean squared tail with early nose and canopy.

The Wooksta!

No. The larger 188 fin was for better handling with the BMW 801 and Jump 213 engines. When they were fitted to the Ju 88 bombers for the S and T series, they got a revised streamlined nose glazing.

How about your Heavy Bomber variant as a long range airliner?

This can be a scaleorama project with a 1/72 Ju-88 and a 1/48 Ju-87
