That's fine - I till dare you to make it using a pair (or more) of Revell's 1/32 Ju-88As! <...>

Nah, not my scale! ;) If Revell were to re-pop the new Hasegawa 1/72 Ju-88s, that'd be a different story.

Hey GTX, could you please post some "straight" (not-whiff) Ju-388 variant profiles?

Line drawings please, the blanks for that jet-powered one earlier in the thread, a Ju-388K i believe. Would be perfect if you have the same drawings for the 388J and L also. I have some profile ideas that I want to experiment with.

GTX

Here you go - please let me know if you need more/bigger:

And for good measure - a crude Ju-288 one in case anyone wants to play with profiles):

Ah yes, always liked the look of  the 288.

I suspect Airmodel did a vacform of it where the left side didn't match the right side by about 5 mm, and the only other one modelled is by Anigrand at £140.00.  :banghead:

Or maybe someone else on here knows different?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Huma do a 1/72 Ju-288 for £34.25 (Hannants). And if you're feeling more extravagant, there's a Kora Ju-488 for £125.60

A thought - imagine if the Ju-88 kept it's original nose contours rather than going with the "glass house" look:

Interestingly, the late model Ju-88S/T series in a way went back to this:

Anyone tried one of these conversions or reviewed?

The Wooksta!

I've three of them stashed away for the future.  Fairly simple replacements for the relevent kit parts in the Dragon Ju 88 or Ju 188.

The glazing is the worst bit, apparently.
