English Electric Canberra MSR 17

This started out as a simple T17 conversion, and then I thought to myself, why not Whif a Canberra for a change. I went through 3 sets of Squadron markings due to disintigrations with this one, firstly 800 NAS, then 892 then finally to 700A NAS    The serials & roundels are from a Wyvern & skull & crossbones from a Sea Vixen, with all the white metal lumpy bumpy bits stuck on and moved around a bit, like the chaff dispensers now on the rear side fuselage, Ive also turned the gun pack around and in my world its full of sensors. Also added are some Mantras and strike camera from my last 72nd Phantom plus the MAD boom is a small bit of sprue.

Unusally I had a fair bit of grief with this B (i)6 with a very poor fit all over the place, never had these issues with my other B (i)6    so if you can see some gaps please excuse them.......... pretty please     

Finally, I had grand plans for a wonderful back story but I had a brain fart and the brain cell crashed

Thorvic, that was the general idea, along with a sort of Shackleton to Nimrod conversion stand in but the brain cell crashed at that point    as Ive rescribed the bomb bay allowing it to be opened aft of the gun pod now sensor pack along with the Mantra Pods on the wings which I thought better than standard iron bombs on the wings

Thanks everyone  Ive been threatened with a fate worse than death if I dare Whiff a Canberra again (Phreak off BM - hes scary    ) however, one day I will work something out storywise for this fine Lady, because, in my mind she looks like she was a real one
